Cyclist Dies after Hit-and-Run in Fort Lauderdale

A man who was struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle in Fort Lauderdale has tragically died. Fort Lauderdale police claim the man, James Ortibez, was riding his bicycle at about 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, when a car struck him, causing him to fall off of the bicycle and into the street.
